Welcome to Yellow Class!

Hello! Welcome to Yellow Class' Class Page. The adults who are working with Year 6 this year are Mr O’Sullivan, Mrs Price and Mr Hutchinson.

Year 6 is such an important year because it is the transition in to secondary school. We aim to give our children the skills that they need to succeed as they move in to the next stage in their education.

We take our responsibilities in Year 6 extremely seriously and use every opportunity to promote positive attitudes and behaviours in school. Our council roles allow us to have whole school impacts whilst our daily jobs build independence with our learning.

We are very fortunate in Yellow Class to have Mrs Price, Mr Hutchinson. Mrs Price speaks fluent French which always really impresses us and she teaches French for the rest of Key Stage 2. Mr Hutchinson works with us in the afternoon but likes to spend time with his two elderly bunnies - Bert and Ernie!

We love being in Year 6 – we hope you do too!

PE Kits

Please make sure that your child has their full PE kit in school at ALL times. At the very least they should have T-shirt, shorts and plimsolls in school. All PE will be outside and so children should bring in some trainers and tracksuit bottoms to keep warm.

Remember to name your child’s property

A reminder that lost items are far more likely to return to their owners if they are clearly named! That includes any pens, pencil cases, lunch boxes etc as well as clothes.

Please do not hesitate to contact us throughout the term.

Many thanks,

Mr O’Sullivan
