In year 3 we need to begin to understand that food is grown (such as tomatoes, wheat and potatoes), reared (such as pigs, chickens and cattle) and caught (such as fish) in the UK, Europe and the wider world.
Take this week to research what food might be grown/reared/caught in Greece and the UK. Do we import/export anything to them? Why might we import from them? Does the type of land contribute to this? Use your knowledge of the climate to decide if it makes a difference? If so, to what?
Present your work however you like. You might choose a powerpoint, presenting verbally or on a poster.
