Yellow Class

Welcome to Yellow Class!

Hello! Welcome to Yellow Class' Class Page. We’re Miss Kostiw and Miss Rodgers; Class teachers for Year 6.

We love teaching Yellow Class because we think it’s the best year! We work very hard to make sure that all of our children are ready for the move into secondary school but make sure that we have as much fun as possible while we’re working!

Not only do we have lots of responsibilities within the school day, we also deliver Harvest boxes and visit the Offham community, get special training with Kent’s ‘Safety in Action’ and finally finish our year with one incredible residential trip to PGL Osmington Bay. That’s not all though, make sure you also stick around to see our star-studded production and Leavers’ Assembly before the academic year is up!

We are very fortunate in Yellow Class to have a Mrs Price support us. Mrs Price speaks fluent French which always really impresses us and she teaches French for the rest of Key Stage 2. Mrs Price is brilliant at explaining things and helping us learn new words.

We love being in Year 6 – we hope you do too!

PE Kits

Please make sure that your child has their full PE kit in school at ALL times. At the very least they should have T-shirt, shorts and plimsolls in school. This term we will be doing Tag Rugby and Netball for which children could bring in some trainers as it will be outdoors (weather permitting). It would be helpful if they also had some track suit bottoms for chilly days outdoors.

Remember to name your child’s property

A reminder that lost items are far more likely to return to their owners if they are clearly named! That includes any pens, pencil cases, lunch boxes etc as well as clothes.

Please do not hesitate to contact us throughout the term.

Many thanks,

Miss Kostiw, Miss Rodgers and Mrs Price.
